Ricoh IM C Series pass the BLI Security Validation Testing Program from Keypoint Intelligence
Ricoh IM C Series multifunction devices including IM C2000, IM C2500, IM C3000, IM C3500, IM C4500, and IM C6000 have earned the Buyers Lab seal in 2020 after passing the Device Penetration portion of the Security Validation Testing Program from Keypoint Intelligence, the industry’s leading authority in document imaging device testing and research.
A decent multifunction device not only has features that make your document work faster and more convenient, but it also protects your data. To give consumers peace of mind that their devices meet security standards and are safe from threats or vulnerabilities, Keypoint Intelligence – Buyers Lab has created a neutral third-party security testing benchmark program that standardizes the requirements for output devices. The device that earns the right to use the BLI Security Validation Testing seal must pass one of these testing areas - Device Penetration, Policy Compliance, or Firmware Resilience.
The firmware featured on Ricoh’s IM C Series passed the Device Penetration portion of the suite. The device is tested by certified security experts using combination of automated tools and manual exploitation attempts to probe for potential vulnerabilities in the device firmware/OS, ports, print protocols, embedded web page, connectivity avenues, and so on.
Ricoh IM C Series multifunction devices come with a wide range of state-of-the-art features. You can perform tasks using a 10.1" Smart Operation Panel which comes with an easy-to-use UI and fast touch response. Built with the RICOH Always Current Technology (ACT) platform, the devices can continuously be upgraded with new features as they become available. RICOH Smart Integration also provides applications that expand the device capabilities. With RICOH Intelligent Support, you can get help with problems or maintenance whenever you need it. Most importantly, you will have complete peace of mind thanks to robust security features.
