RTH recognised for business excellence and commitment to circular economy
Ricoh Thailand (RTH) recently hosted Akira Oyama during his first visit to the country since assuming the role of President and CEO of Ricoh Group on April 1, 2023.
During his visit, Akira took the opportunity to gain insight into RTH’s performance over the past year and review the company's strategies for FY23 to achieve business transformation in a rapidly evolving digital world.
Akira was briefed that RTH fully supports Ricoh’s ambition to become a competitive player in the digital services industry, and one of the ways it is doing so is by seeking perspectives and opinions from clients and employees while emphasizing the concept of Fulfilment through Work.
Impressed with the company's exceptional performance and robust business management guidelines, Akira praised RTH’s ability to retain existing customers while attracting new ones, leading to remarkable results in the region. He expressed confidence that RTH would maintain its high performance in the future, driven by its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
In addition to celebrating the company's achievements, Akira participated in a Rental & Used MFP Business presentation at RTH’s Eco Learning Center (ELC) in Bang Pla, Samut Prakan Province.
The presentation showcased the process of refurbishing used machines according to the Comet Cycle concept, which maximises resource utilisation and supports environmental preservation. This approach aligns with Ricoh’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies and reflects the company’s commitment to the circular economy.
At Central Refurbishment Center (CRC), Akira closely observed each step of the refurbishment process and was thoroughly impressed with the CRC’s meticulous work standards.
Recognising the facility's potential as a learning centre for sustainable environmental management, Akira expressed his gratitude to the ELC team for providing valuable opportunities for customers, partners, and both private and government sectors to visit and share knowledge.
RTH’s commitment to the circular economy underscore its dedication to driving positive environmental change while delivering exceptional service.
