On 25 October 2024, Ricoh Thailand (RTH) had the honour of welcoming Yosuke Narita, Chief Financial Officer of Ricoh Asia Pacific, alongside Julian Fryett, President of Ricoh Thailand, to officially inaugurate the launch of its new workspace during the “Unlocking the Future of New Co-working Space” event.

The event marked the first phase of introducing the new workspace at RTH HQ, which exemplifies flexible work environments that can swiftly adapt to today’s evolving demands.

The workspace is designed to promote seamless collaboration in a modern environment, enriched with advanced technology to boost productivity. The event was live-streamed to ensure all employees could participate in this milestone, allowing RTH staff from various locations to join remotely.

Yosuke praised the new co-working space, saying it’s well-designed to support RTH’s current workforce and the next generation of its employees.

The new workspace embodies Ricoh's vision to foster seamless collaboration by integrating office products and solutions that enhance the work experience. It features facial recognition scans for easy identity verification, along with a body temperature monitoring system for safety. Employees can conveniently access pre-booked seats or meeting rooms through RICOH Spaces, checking in by simply scanning a QR code upon arrival.

RTH has created three distinct meeting rooms within the co-working space, each equipped with diverse meeting solutions from various brands to showcase their unique features. This allows employees to choose rooms with devices that best fit their requirements.

The co-working space also serves as a showcase for products and solutions for visiting customers. For those needing a quieter setting, the Smart Meeting Pod offers a private environment designed to minimise external noise to improve focus and productivity.

To encourage employees to maximise the potential of the new co-working space, training sessions were held to familiarise them with the various products and solutions available. These sessions provided hands-on experience with multifunction printers, desk and room booking systems, surveillance cameras, and innovative meeting room technologies.

Additionally, sales staff were invited to gain deeper insights into Ricoh’s products and solutions, enhancing their expertise and enabling them to meet customer needs more effectively.

They had the opportunity to explore office devices and applications like DocuWare and RICOH kintone plus, which streamline workflow management and simplify document approvals.

Lastly, they were also introduced to a range of Ricoh services, solutions, and initiatives, including the Ricoh-Cisco Meraki Smart Service, the CMYK+ feature of the Ricoh Pro C7500, Ricoh’s green compliance initiatives, and its commitment to DEI&B (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) in the workplace.
