RICOH Exclusive Networking: Discuss Cyber Security, Share Great Ideas with Dell Technologies

Amidst the changes after the Covid-19 epidemic crisis, workers inevitably moved the working platform gradually from a physical office to a virtual one. Of course, technology is a key factor in making this transition smooth. However, the use of technology can be a double-edged sword. When there are people with bad intentions waiting for an opportunity to attack various organizations on the cyber.

As a global technology organization that cares about the way we work, RICOH is always aware of this problem, so we considered sharing our views on Cyber Security with other organizations. To develop a more efficient and secure digital workspace, RICOH cooperated with Dell Technologies to organize Ricoh Exclusive Networking event on the topic of “The last line to protect against Ransomware” at The St. Regis Bar, The St. Regis Bangkok on October 26, 2022.

Although the event promoted a comfortable atmosphere by letting the participants enjoy the Special Afternoon Tea, the discussion was still intense. We had invited executives from leading companies to exchange exclusive experiences with experts in the Enterprise IT Solution industry in Thailand.

Participants in this event raised several interesting issues including business operations under the changing situation after the Covid-19 crisis and various working styles that have changed. “Cyber Threats” was a heated topic in this event. The participants widely exchanged their views on present and future threats for everyone to be prepared and have a good tactic that can remedy the situation if a cyberattack occurs in the organization. 

Unquestionably, this event provided all participants knowledge, deliciousness, impressions, and experiences to the maximum extent.

We hope learning about Cyber Security did not end at this event, and participants will implement the knowledge to benefit their organizations. Besides, we hope they will always follow up on this issue because cyberattacks adapt every day. Therefore, we should be aware and ready to deal with all forms of cyber threats.
