RICOH Supports Growth for Use of Latest Technology in November Series 2019
Ricoh (Thailand) Limited participated in November Series from 27-28 November 2019 at Vayupak Hall, Centara Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana, Bangkok. This event was held by Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDE) and The Association of Thai ICT Industry (ATCI) to drive the prevalent utilization of information technology in the nation, aligning with the world of changing technology.
This opening ceremony of this event was greeted by Mr. Newin Chochaiyathip, Vice Minister of Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. The seminars included:
- Thailand Local Government Summit 2019 under the theme of Transforming Public Service through Digital Technology was attended by senior executives from governments and state enterprises. The topic emphasizes the significance of local development and decentralization. Digital technology will be the key factor in transforming the country through thorough and equal public services.
- eLogistic Summit 2019 under the theme of A New Era: Converging the Physical and Digital Logistics was attended by senior executives from government and private sectors. The topic reiterates logistics management that has become another key strategy to create competitive advantage because good logistics management can enhance value proposition and contribute to cost reduction. Nowadays, only the integration of logistics process and digital technology can conquer in this battlefield.
- Robotic Summit 2019 under the theme of The Next Step on Your Robotics & Automation Journey was attended by senior executives from government and private sectors. The topic underlines that Thailand ranks the first in utilizing industrial robots in ASEAN from 2018-2020 with the average of 19% growth. It is no surprise that Thailand will become influential in robots soon.
At this event, RICOH showcased various solutions as follows
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA): IT robots for offices which encompass technology integration to drive office automation and increase efficiency
- SKYFROG: Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Color wide format multifunction printer with with advanced GEL-Jet waterproof ink technology
- Smart Flow for Government Solution: a platform which assists in software design and development for organizations
- Waste Information Management System: a system that stores information of the amount of waste (weight) for analysis and proper disposal
