SiS was established on June 17, 1998, to engage in the wholesale distribution of computers, peripherals, and office automation equipment. The company began operations in 1999, with a joint venture with other companies within the SiS Group, and Mr. Somchai Sittichaisrichat served as a partner and executive.
On February 9, 2004, the company registered with the Ministry of Commerce and transformed into a public company. On June 15, 2004, it was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand with the goal of becoming one of the leading distributors of computers, peripherals, and office automation equipment in Thailand, supported by the SiS Group.
The company has earned the trust of over 70 leading global manufacturers to be the authorized distributor in Thailand, including brands such as Compaq, Acer, Hewlett Packard, Samsung, Lenovo, IBM, Toshiba, Apple, APC, Xerox, Linksys, and Cloud AWS. SiS has a customer base of over 4,500 computer business operators nationwide, including retailers, business distributors, government agencies, and system integrators.

The Cloud Business Unit of SiS Distributor is managed by Mr. Noppakoon Visitrattakul, General Manager, responsible for overseeing and managing operations under his leadership to achieve the company's goals. SiS has been appointed as the official distributor of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Thailand since 2021 and has received the “Rising Star Distributor Partner of the Year” award for two consecutive years.
Regarding products and services, Cloud AWS is a cloud service managed by Amazon Web Services (AWS), which provides infrastructure and applications that can be accessed over the internet without the need to invest in setting up complex servers or hardware.
AWS offers a wide range of services, including:
- Compute: Such as EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud), which allows users to rent virtual servers for data processing.
- Storage: Such as S3 (Simple Storage Service) for storing data that can be accessed from anywhere.
- Databases: Such as RDS (Relational Database Service) or DynamoDB for managing flexible and high-volume databases.
- Management & Monitoring: Tools such as CloudWatch to monitor and manage the performance of applications or servers.
- Networking: Creating VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) and connecting various systems within the cloud infrastructure.

SiS and Ricoh have initiated collaboration on Cloud AWS, starting with a test environment and the implementation of the Cloud AWS Backup solution.
